Horsepower Low Starch CONFIDENCE is a fully steam extruded, high protein, Low Starch, Low NSC complete feed for performance horses and ponies.
It is suitable for horses prone to laminitis and insulin resistance.
Traditional feeds made from grains and by-products derive their energy from high starch and non-structural carbohydrate (NSC) content.
CONFIDENCE contains very low levels of starch, sugars and NSC. Abundant energy is drawn instead from oil and fibre, combined with very high quality protein to reduce the glycaemic resonse and safeguard against Insulin Resistance.
CONFIDENCE still retains sufficent energy and protein to support all levels of equestrian sport and competition, but with less risk than high starch and high sugar concentrate feeds.

Directions for use: Feed CONFIDENCE in conjunction with pasture, hay and / or chaff. Forage feed intake should be a minimum of 1% of the horse’s bodyweight daily.

How to Feed with Confidence:
Pony (200kg): Light / Medium work  1.5kg – 2kg per day
Adult Horse: Light / Medium work 2.5kg – 4kg per day
Warmblood (600kg): Hard work / Competition  4.5kg – 6kg per day
